About the Course
This course will introduce a solid and in-depth understanding of the different WL and MWD-LWD logging tools and technology with, special emphasis on geosteering operations and related borehole imaging applications.
Participants will understand geosteering process using basic and advanced real-time drilling & logging technologies.
During this course the participant will got familiar of the different geosteering procedures: well planning, prejob modelling, real time decisions and post job reporting.
In this course our audience will navigate through different aspects of borehole image evaluation i.e., formation dip identification, real-time utilization, cutting up, cutting down, reservoir entry-exit identification, fractures, insitu-stresses and fault analysis.

To understand what is geosteering and why we do directional drilling.

To be familiar of Prejob, Real-time and Post job procedures.

Geological changes while drilling (TVD, TVT, dip, structures, fractures and facies).

To be familiar of azimuthal and non-azimuthal logs applications.

To know the main logging packages for essential geosteering operations.

To understand insitu-stresses (washout, breakout and induced fractures).

To get familiar of the main petrophysical aspects for reservoir evaluation while drilling.
